Question: Why do so many people in Tucson have loud engine hot rod setups on their vehicles?
I have lived all over the country not seeing it to this extent, and do not understand this “culture”. Just your average Joe with his plumbing truck will blast everyone out and at each stoplight. What’s up Tucson?

It may be the part of town you're in too? Like I know near the U of A, I hear them all the time, but not so much out in the foothills, etc. We are also both a college town and a military town, so those are probably contributing factors too.
