Subscribe pending when trying to sub to !photography

Is this a known issue? I don't seem to have issues subscribing to other communities outside my instance.

Seen a number of posts about Subscription Pending over the last day. I think it's down to lemmy.ml being heavily loaded. Most of my lemmy.ml community subs and a few other instances have all been sat on Subscription Pending for days now.
