One of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken’s spinoff manga, The Ways of the Monster Nation, is cancelled after being on hiatus for over three years, due to health issues of the artist.
Thats the one that got an anime right?
Sad but health is more important.
The spinoff that got an anime was Tensura Nikki aka The Slime Diaries.
The protagonist of Monster Nation, Framea, actually has a cameo in Diaries manga, I forgot whether she made it to the anime or not.
That's a shame. I hadn't read too much of this one, but it had a cute main character and a couple fun characters around her.
A shame indeed.
Interesting tidbit: This is the only spinoff manga published by Micro Magazine, the publisher of Slime’s novels. The rest including the main one are all published by Kodansha.
