Gearless Magnet Bike

I love how genuinely excited this guy gets about his designs / inventions. Even projects that are a bust he still manages to stay positive and have fun.

Might be involved, but segmenting the copper disk and selectively dis/connecting the segments with some kind of switches would dictate whether Eddy currents could flow or not..

Damn, I felt really dumb after watching that video - half that math went over my head haha.

Super interesting. Thank you. While watching the video i was thinking of how cool it would be to have magnetic suspensions.

It bothers me that he called it a gearless bike. It's clutched, but also still geared.
