Minor accused of killing a beloved Oakland store clerk is only 13 years old

I think a lot of people had to fail this kid for this outcome to occur.

This kid still has the chance to turn his life around and change. He can still get his GED, learn a trade, get counseling to recognize what factors brought him to kill.

I worry if he doesn't take those steps, he'll get out of juvie, hurt someone else, and begin the cycle of going in and out of prison until he dies.
