You turned a intel into an amd cpu (by pin method)
Got an AMD cpu but an intel mobo? Just give the CPU a shave!
AMD uses the LGA socket now.

It was stupid that the most expensive part had the extremely fragile pins (although IIRC the pins on PGA are tougher than LGA pins)
And this change (as well as the requirement for DDR5 memory), made AM4 to AM5 an expensive upgrade.
Motherboards are quite expensive nowadays.
Yeah, I got a normal one (not super expensive, not super cheap) and it was about the same as my CPU.
DIY intel to amd adaptor. Sombody get the art and craft channels on this shit ASAP.
