Using hashtag at Lemmy for Mastodon?

Hey, I'm not certain how the connection works precisely. Does it appear when someone searches for #fuckcars on Mastodon if I include #fuckcars in the title or content of a post at the Lemmy?

  • As an additional question, is it possible for me to follow a Mastodon account on Lemmy so it appears as part of my subscribed feed?

    In particular I want to follow Never Obsolete (@256)

    • Lemmy users do not have a mechanism for following users, I think. Only communities (which are also seen as groups, based on the software).
