Is it possible to remove text shadow on file labels on the desktop?

in the desktop settings there is no such option

Only by modifying the Folder View widget source code. If I remember correctly someone did that change and put it on store.kde.org
I don't think so, it's there to make it easy to read the text no matter what background you're using. Why do you want to remove it in the first place?
- yeah I know, but on certain types of wallpapers they are not needed, so I was wondering if it was possible to remove or perhaps change the text decoration to (e.g.) outline, bold, ...
Is that shadow text or just the icon for .txt?
- the shadow text for any file on the desktop
