Found this while looking up the star destroyer.
That's just silly. A mushroom cloud would be vertical even if the detonation was over a hillside.
I love it. The leaning mushroom cloud tower is just perfectly cartoonish.
It was basically the perfect canvas for photoshopping: as empty and nondescript as it was ubiquitous and recognizable.
I wish there was a decent place to find hundreds of them at a time
