  • This is great. While private companies with great cultures can endure, Proton's long term resilience could be strengthened by implementing an employee ownership scheme such as a worker coop. That reduces the risks of exec management making unmitigated mistakes.

    • It's not foolproof, but the most stable companies I've worked for have had some hefty amount of employee ownership. They may not be a Microsoft or Amazon, but they know how to weather downturns and plan for a long running sustainable future. It's not a guarantee, but it's pretty much the dream for me
