How is this a conversation in 2024? You'd think it would've been an EU law by now.
17 1 ReplyEU doesn't have that kind of power, it's mostly a trade alliance not a type of federal government.

2 0 ReplyThose were terms for financial aid. The EU can stop giving countries financial aid but they can't make laws outside of trade related ones.

In most countries, it requires constitutional changes to update family definitions.
