took about 2 minutes to decide to pre-emptively block threats / Meta. Their
transparent and opportunistic scheme to commodify the fediverse and it’s users
will not be allowed to proceed. We strongly encourage other instance...
So, hear me out... What if we put a scheme in place where anyone who wanted to use the API had to pay for access? And then we charge like 20x what we should to put them out of business. I am sure that would work out well.

Only way for them to get that data is by you downloading their proprietary app. When it comes to the content you post here its all public and you can't prevent them from seeing it.
