It feels like that realization could have been reached sooner. But not surprising that it went this far.
- You can beat the rap, but you can't beat the ride.
  
  The whole point is to impose punishment by forcing people to defend themselves in the criminal justice system.
  
  And she has cleverly used it to keep climate issues in the spotlight.
