Yes I have also downed some lemon juice.
Lemon juice might make it worse. Lemon is very acidic. Heartburn feeling is caused by stomach acid, so you don’t want to add acid to the stomach content. If you have any antacids like or Eno, gaviscon, mylanta, that will be more effective.
