Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest in the Solar System.
It is a gas giant with a mass of roughly 2.5 all the other planets in the Solar System combined... But still slightly less than 1/1000 the mass of the Sun.

Ok, have read the linked blog. But why doesn't NASA do the stitching of the image stripes? They have the probe's rotation data and stuff.
