Reminder: Check your language settings
If you're having trouble seeing posts on the instance, including the discussion post for "Among the Lotus Eaters", chances are you need to check your account's language settings.
In your user settings, make sure “Language” is set to both “English” and “Undetermined”. You can select additional languages as well, but they aren’t currently allowed on this server. On desktop, you can use CTRL+click to select both options. This will allow you to see content for which the author has not set a language, and content which has been set to “English”.
Where is the Klingon language setting? I’m missing those posts on here…

Won't that just flood my feed with unspecified language posts that I can't read?

That has not been my experience. I did see a post in French once, but that's it. Can only assume non-English speakers are way better at using their language settings than we are.
I have unspecified languages checked in my settings and have not seen any posts that I am unable to read
Is this going to get fixed soon? This is massively misleading for new people who think that this sub isn't active.
Earlier I tried to post something and it only even allows me to pick Undermined only when creating the post. I couldn't even choose English.

In theory, you shouldn't have to use the language box at all when creating a post or comment - if you don't touch it, the system is supposed to auto-assign it.
Sadly, I don't know if this is on the devs' radar for clarification.
