Team Fortress 2 Getting Linux 64Bit Support

Earlier today Valve made a new depot for TF2 called "x64_linux_test". Maybe this mean well get a native 64 bit client ( and hopefully DXVK instead of ToGL please Valve) or this is just server stuff

Ok that's great but they need to fix the bots.
Wait, I thought the TF2 team was just one guy still working on it because he likes to.
I am so hype for this actually. Never thought about it but no other source 1 game supports 64 bit except for CSGO.. so my theory is that this is the first step towards getting the game ported to source 2 someday!

- It's in the top 20 games on steam nearly 100% of the time, it definitely has its issues but it's far from dead.
- The game's almost two decades old.
Wait what? TF2 is 32 bit?
- Apparently all source 1 games are 32 bit. Except for CSGO..

People still play this game? Last time I checked it out (over 5 years ago) it was full of bots. It can’t be any better now.
- Bots are only really a problem on Valve servers. There are many active community servers out there that manage to detect and ban them.
