I haven't seen it since it was new, thanks for the reminder! Added to my "watch soon" list.
Edit - I seem to remember it has the most satisfying fist fight scene I've ever watched, and I'm not generally one to particularly enjoy fist fights in media.
synopsis
the film follows an unnamed drifter who discovers through special sunglasses that the ruling class are aliens concealing their appearance and manipulating people to consume, breed, and conform to the status quo via subliminal messages in mass media.
i'm hooked on the synopsis alone
They Live. It's a great movie. You should see it if you have a chance.

Yeah, I could see going into that fight scene super high and losing your fucking mind.
Like, this is my life now. This fight scene will not end, ever. Just Roddy Piper and Keith David punching each other, forever.
That's exactly what I felt like lol. It just kept going, I couldn't believe it, I thought I was in a loop or something
