System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition

Anyone heard any news about the enhanced edition of System Shock 2 or is everyone busy playing the remake of the original game?

The article below is one of the latest (and possibly best) sources of information related to SS2:EE. Unfortunately, there is no announced release date. It's particularly hard for me since I finished the SS (Remake) about a week ago and I'm really itching to play SS2, but when I do, I want it to be the EE. Oh, well. Guess I'll wait.
