2008 Inpreza at 100k miles:
This is true if you know boxer engines—aka glass engines—need more care than usual. Such as actually servicing it when you're supposed to and on time, which I know is hard for about 90% of people. Do this and a Subaru will outlive the age of humans.
Yup, just have to do the scheduled head gasket replacment. Just routine maintainence.
