No idea about the dock. They mentioned BT in the podcast and it's basically too slow for gaming due to Bluetooth itself, so it's on the back burner.
Too slow audio? I can't imagine most of the playdate games I play it would really matter if it was a millisecond off.
I don't think you realize how slow Bluetooth is, and how little delay it takes to really throw one off. You're probably right that a millisecond would be manageable. But Bluetooth audio can easily be a half second off as well as not being consistently off by the same amount of time.
Yeah half a second would obviously be a problem. Annoying even on slow paced games.
