That looks gorgeous! I saw in another comment that you used a mandolin to slice the apples - you’re braver than I am. I have one, but I’m terrified of it 😅
They have finger guards for them! Don't be afraid, they smell fear. You can't slice all the way down, obviously, but the scraps can be used re: that comment I made earlier
I have a dumbass/odd question: are mandolin slicers adjustable and could they be used to slice bagels? I need my bagels cut into 3rds or 4ths, not in halves.
Yes they are adjustable! You can adjust for different thicknesses. Would it be thick enough or sharp enough for a bagel? I am unsure but I am intrigued, please let me know if you try it
Do you have a recommendation for a mandolin brand? I might give it a go.
