Daughters is so sick. This whole album is fantastic.
It's one of my favorite albums by them for sure! They're such a trip to see live too. I remember seeing them with the Blood Brothers somewhere in Ohio, around the time they released their first album and still had the screamy vocals.
There was this really loud heckler right next to me shouting at them, calling them a ripoff of some other band, and it made things really awkward for the entire venue. Everyone was just standing around not sure how to react to either the band or the heckler. The band took a short moment to talk with each other after a song or two, then they completely changed the vibe by going absolutely wild with their performance. Something I can only compare to the Dillinger Escape Plan in their early years. The heckler faded into the background and they won the crowd over in beautiful fashion.

Oh man, that sounds awesome. That is not a band I would want to heckle. Thanks for that link, high-energy bar shows are the best, though these days I'm enjoying putting them on the TV. Starting to get too old for the pit..
