What time do you think the Daily posts should go up every day?
The past few days have required some manual intervention, but I'm confident that I've worked all the bugs out now.
Right now they are set for 6am UTC, which is 2am Eastern Time in the US.
2 0 ReplyMy selfish preference would be 05:00 UTC, this way I can post before going to work, not first thing after arriving there 😅
1 0 ReplyI was thinking 0400, which is midnight where I am, and 9pm on the west coast.
2 0 ReplySounds good to me too!
AFAIK, we only have shavers from the US and Europe, so if we aim for morning shavers to be able to log their morning shave immediately, that's a good moment.
1 0 ReplySounds good to me. How about summer time adjustments?
1 0 ReplyIt's currently set to America/New_York, so it'll change twice a year. If you have more insight into a more appropriate TZ I can easily change it.
Edit: Rather, it won't change. It'll remain consistent as long as your country practices the time change on the same dates as the US.
2 0 ReplyEurope and NA do not practice the same changes on the same dates (at least, not exactly, cf. link below), but we need to fix some reference. NY is a reasonable choice, IMO.

1 0 ReplyOh yeah, looks like they're 2-3 weeks apart.

Does any country? 😅
But no, I don't think there's a better time zone. At least for most sub members.
1 0 ReplyI mean, nobody should bother with changing clocks twice a year. What a strange thing to do. #TeamPermanentDaylightSavingTime

Midnight makes sense, though obviously that's different for everyone. But your midnight is just as good as someone else's (especially since it's also my midnight.)
