Is there any place with all of reddit's snoovatar assets?
I wanted to download them to make a avatar builder for lemmy. I could get all of the SVGs through the inspect element, but I wanted to see if anyone did this before.

He wants to make it, his resources are his to waste. I wrote a bash script that sends cowsay to mail, it's utterly useless, but i liked making it. I didn't waste shit except my own time and it's mine to "waste".

I don't see how it would promote the other website, its literally for lemmy (I would replace the snoo heads with the lemmy rat)

Totally agree. We need to be less like them. We don't need gimmicks. Let's focus on the content, and a decent community. Kind of like Reddit before all the avatars, chat features, gold, followers, etc.... After all, those features were only added to Reddit to make it sell.

I think followers and chat are a good idea because I could follow my friends and share memes directly to them through Lemmy rather than have to download and share it externally. But besides that yeah
I just like the cute avatars and think something similar would nice on lemmy.
