Sorry for going offtopic but how did you post here from beehaw? I don't think any of us scary lemmynsfw users are allowed to go anywhere near your instance :)
Don't worry, I figured it out on my own. I just needed to subscribe to one of their communities and they approved me.
Lemmynsfw is not defederated with beehaw
Neither is lemmy.world but I'm not able to join [email protected] for some reason. It says "Subscribe Pending".
Being able to see the community means its available to subscribe to . "subscribe pending" means the server is aboard the USS Strugglebus. A lot of the time you'll even see "subscribe pending" community content in your subscription feed because the subscription was successful. Just bugs, not active choices by admins
Hmm I tried to join a couple lemmy.ml communities at first and got the same message. I just assumed they wouldn't let me in without approval. Thanks!
