Honestly, it seems like it would be easier to contribute Dev time to WINE and just start all over with a new incompatible version of Windows.
7 0 ReplyWindows/Microsoft's biggest selling point is the backwards compatibility though. It has been the corner stone of their software development.
8 0 ReplyThe point being you build something new and run the crusty compatible stuff in a sort of “virtual machine”.
6 0 ReplyRight. Just make a super super good compatibility layer so whatever you have next will be compatible and give up on Windows proper. They can call it Windows 360.
