Download Wikipedia. It doesn't take much storage space without pictures. Then when it gets taken down, sued, hacked, edited with misinformation etc you still have it. I was thinking this months ago and this now confirms their plans.

Thanks for letting me know about RationalWiki. The Kiwix zim looks fairly old. I attempted the more recent archive on the page that you linked to but it's a huge xml file.
What program do I need to be able to navigate this dump to be able to use the content?
I don't know as I've yet to try it myself.
