What's the best wax-on-wax-off-style advice you've heard that you can attest as being helpful in certain situations?

A line that really stuck with me from The Blade Itself is "Once you've got a task to do, it is better to do it than to live with the fear of it". That's damned good advice that I repeat to myself all the time in matters of discipline.
If I ever get a tattoo it'll be either "better to do it than live with the fear of it" or "Don't Panic" from hitchhikers guide.
