To be fair, it's nothing to do with them.
Why are you being downvoted? You are right.
Does Boeing sell plane kits? You have to source the engines separately? Or do they sell the whole plane?
Engines are manufactured by different companies. Boeing certifies its planes to work with such and such engines. Airlines may purchase them separately.
