Expecting global peace in our lifetime is a naive fools errand.
So we should just sit back and do nothing? I would rather strive endlessly for something that's next to impossible than whine hopelessly and make sure it is impossible by inactivity.
Work towards pragmatic policy that's achievable within current constraints.
