I was surprised to visit itjust.works (without the sh.) and find an IT company. How did the url sh.itjust.works come to be, amazing name and all?

I believe I recall reading a thread about Lemmy and someone said "I own the domain itjust.works, suggest a subdomain and I'll host an instance" and someone replied with "sh.itjust.works." Then again, I may have hallucinated this.
