I just built a new PC for our family room, and I had planned on making it Linux only…until I found out my son wouldn’t be able to play the full version of Minecraft without a convoluted workaround.
Wait, what? I play a lot of Minecraft on linux. Java version works perfectly.
(And I've never played bedrock, but apparently bedrock is buggy? And java is where the mod packs are)
I have only played Minecraft on Linux... What needs windows? I needed to open an Xbox account to get the multiplayer to work, but I was able to do that on my android phone.
