Edit: this is not an obscure tip, posting before I've woken up.
Watch the skies traveler, cave leeches are dangerous.
Oh, with how many times I've been caught by a leech because I refuse to look up when first entering a cave, you'd think it was an obscure tip.
Gamers just don't look up
I get cave leeched when I'm distracted, say by a helmet or a barley bulb. The frequency with which cave leaches will plant themselves over an interesting feature is conspicuous.
