General Christopher Cavoli said that Russian forces were firing five shells for every one shell that Ukraine fired, a disparity which he warned could increase to 10 to one in coming weeks.
Cavoli's statement was the latest in a series of increasingly pointed warnings about how the ongoing delay in U.S. aid is weakening Ukraine's position on the battlefield.
As the other reply clarified other countries help too, but it's a fact that the US had the most stuff in stock. Maybe still has idk.. Many EU countries thought war was a thing of the past and the world is finally on its way to peace. So they didn't stockpile enough weapons and ammo for a war. That's why they now struggle more than the US. They now need to strengthen their defense as well as supply Ukraine. It's hard.
