If you ban something on devices you own, and people can get around the ban, that's a failure of your IT department, not the staff.
But also, fire those people for not following rules
Nah those people are useful, you normally have to pay for people to find workarounds, people that break the rules do it for free
Alaska airlines is asking Boeing for $150,000,000 because a mechanic "found a work around." I'll take my chances with process improvement methods instead.
