With today's news of Letterboxd being acquired by an investment company, I got to wondering if I should start weaning my movie obsession off of there and onto something more open before the inevitable enshittification begins. I did a cursory search and found nothing promising, but figured the braintrust here might know something I don't!

I’ve been looking for something like this for a while !! There’s some self hosted solutions alternatives for trakt, but I don’t want the hassle… A fedi letterbox like would be really amazing! (Imagine integrating it with Jellyfin to rate your films after watching, sharing those reviews and film lists on mastodon, pixelfed and Lemmy, a dream would come true)
Self hosted trakt? That's very intriguing to me, please tell me you've got a name for me to look up!
