The new episode was good tho
Yeah, they crammed a lot of good jokes into that 24 minutes but it somehow didn't feel rushed (except the parts they played at 2x speed).
I liked it, not going to lie. There were some fun jokes and some of the same "blink and you'll miss it" but it didn't feel like it had the same soul as futurama used to. I'm excited for the rest of the season to see if they can hold up
Yeah, the "Fulu" bit was a little on the nose but it was surprisingly good overall. I'm still worried about the rest of the season given the names of the episodes, but hopefully they're good.
I didn't like it, myself. Leela encouraging Fry to do something so stupid was really out of character, and I didn't find the concept funny, either. I did love The Scary Mirror, though, as a fan of both The Twilight Zone and Black Mirror! Hoping I'll like the later episodes more.
