Husband told me after I had finished cooking it's now a xmas in july thing and his fam wants xmas dinner. There isn't a fleeting commercial trendy fad they don't follow. They want to be trendy . 🤬 S'pose I better buy a big chook ( can you even get turkeys or geese in July? Anyway, not enough people, chook is enough , I'm not stuffing it, I think I might buy some pre-roasted )

Hit up your local chinese takeaway and tell 'em it's a jewish xmas
buy 3 roast chicken from the supermarket
One per guest. Whole, in bag.
To be extra nice, top it off with a 1kg supermarket lasagne
Those frozen rolled turkey things aren’t bad. I like to get them in January for super cheap. Might be too late to defrost though.
