i never said it was always earnest. i said it was often earnest. mostly unironic. i used it unironically. my friends do. the community where i originally found the trope years ago used it unironically. you are more than welcome to post a star ironically and then there would be irrefutable proof of your claim but i donât care

no worries its just that this conversation is representative of a larger pattern i deal with. i.e. i make a typo or bad grammar choice, correct it later and get âbut you literally said (typo)â at the next turn of the conversation. this is just a silly example of the real issue
anyway yall just dont get my jokes and thats a you issue. i convinced the main person who misunderstood at first and this is literally the first time anyone misunderstood this (i use these stars a lot because they are funny)
