Seeing as they mention America's 250th birthday I am going to mention that the average lifespan of an empire is 250 years.
Yeah. This empire will last less than Liz Truss's term as Prime-Minister.
But also most empires didn't live in the age of instant global communication and endless propaganda power and surveillance.
Yes, I am sure all existing empires will now last until the end of time.
I hope not. But they’re definitely gonna be a lot harder to take down.
I don't mean to say that, but they might be much sturdier.
