That one guy that can talk about having a pair for "10 years" can be that one guy. I lost headphones all the time, or a family member took them, headphones jack ports got dirty and would quit working, if they did survive them cord itself never did. Either silicone/runner protecting broke or the end of the cord did. They were cheap but there was a reason for that.
And holy fucking hell the cord for stuck on everything or pulled out of my pocket or yanked out of my ears. Door knob, school desk, friends, walking, riding a bike.
