1 0 Replya tidally locked orbit like that isn't going to generate 1g of force though. Earth's tidally locked moon only rotates once every 27 days.

Not if the center of the laser dish is one of the poles.
3 0 ReplyYes but once you start spinning you want to keep spinning, and that kinda fucks with turning in any direction because of the angulam momentum.
