As a new studio, they were able to experiment with different ways to produce a series instead of having already established production lines in place. The key thing they do differently is they make heavy use of Unreal Engine throughout the process. The main selling point of the manga is the phenomenal art, so translating that into anime was a risky endeavor for a young studio, but it ended up working out great.
