Timed Mute Community/User

Sometimes, it may be good for one's mental health to "take a break" from a community or user. It would be nice to be able to temporarily block posts from a user or community that one may otherwise enjoy in a 1h/6h/1d/1w or possibly arbitrary time period.

Please add a "save scroll position in home" option.

I've been loving Jerboa, but I'm tired of having to see the same posts every time I open the app.

Add redgifs to embed in the app

I used reddit for porn, and now that i can no longer do so i intend to use lemmy for porn, jerboa is pretty nice save for the occasional home refresh when im checking notifications, but no redgifs embeds, which is unfortunate considering redgifs is probably the premier place for people to post short form video content or images

no i will not join redgifs, their search system is very very not accurate

Remove all point values from posts and comments. edit: guess the feature just doesn't work on my device.

Seeing points absolutely affects how I vote, and I'm curious to see how differently I interact with the app if I can't see that stuff. I don't want to see ANY numbers.

edit: I was confused. I already had that 'feature' on, but it didn't change anything on my device. I thought I just didn't understand what that checkbox was supposed to do.

view parent comment or/and collapse all comments above until parent

I use that feature in Boost for Reddit a lot, where a comment has a triangle-up quick-view button which shows the parent comment in a pop-up box (and that box has another such button asf.). An alternative, less quick but more permanent, would be a button which collapses all comments above the chosen comment so that the parent is visible.

edit: github issue #480

A way to favorite a sublemmy (subreddit?) without subscribing

I like some communities easily accessible but I don't necessarily want them on my main feed.

An example is politics, I like to check in every now and again but I don't like seeing it all the time as it gets my mood down. And I'd prefer not to have to search for it when I want it.

Reddit Sync (my preferred reddit app) has this feature and I think it would be a great addition.
