Working on the @homeassistant setup this weekend now that the pantry is getting closer to being finished.

Trying to setup an automation to run the robot vacuum in the utility room every third time the litter box goes off. Cannot seem to get the zones working though.

Any thoughts? \#homeassistant #smarthome #homeautomation

Currently working on my @homeassistant interface and it's been a real PITA. However, I found this sweet extension that allows you to look up icons so you can easily find the one you want. Genius!

Hey @homeassistant #HomeAssistant people, sometimes editing my config yaml file and need to reload it over an over again as one does.

It takes navigation to settings and five or six mouse clicks to restart HA each time (reload yaml doesn't seem to reload config items) so I'd like to have a command line capability to do that.

Tried "ha restart" but that doesn't seem to be a thing.

Is there an HA command for that, or is the web UI the only way to do it?

For some reason my Hive Integration in @homeassistant just stopped working about an hour ago. This coincided with the hive hub losing connection to the boiler which i have since resolved by following it's troubleshooting steps, and all my hive devices are working and connected to the cloud, but the entities in #homeassistant are still showing as unavailable. Has anyone else experienced problems like this with #hive and Home Assistant?

After 4 attempts, I finally managed to migrate @homeassistant on a PI4 to the Synology.

The backup/restore works, the trick is to: Backup; Download backup;Disconnect the PI;Install VM in Syno;Change IP in HA to the PI one;Restore;Wait.
