Last week in #Hannover, #KDEEco joined Akademie der Spiele, an event for 200+ students with 20+ career/cultural workshops.
Students salvaged dozens of computers with #OpenSource #FreeSoftware.
They learned about the #environmental costs of #eWaste and device production.
They presented their work to peers and teachers!

AMD + Wayland - sometimes Firefox gets on top of all other windows, specially XWayland, and only killing kwin_wayland_r fixes it
Pretty much the title. I have been trying to pinpoint what's causing it and the proper logs, but the only thing in common so far in all times it has happened is firefox and another xwayland application are present.
logs show several errors, including this one - but how could I file a bug report, if I don't know how to reproduce it ?

I couldn't find anything on the man page about, like, a flag to get it to tell you what files it's reading when it starts up or anything like that? Tuxedo OS is Ubuntu based and runs Plasma 6. Maybe worth a look?

The program itself is an AppImage but I couldn't figure out how to get Ant+ devices (cycle trainer and heartrate strap) working on a distro besides GC's documentation for Ubuntu. It worked for me on Mint, I just want to transition to a Plasma DE. Does this look like something you would know how to get working on Kinoite?

Plasma 6 bugs have only recently come down to the level of its predecessor, according to Nate.

Hmm... strange, at my Plasma 6.1.4 + Qt 6.7.3 is running without issues of stability. Before sometimes the desktop crash, but restart imideatly without impact to the running programs.

I saw this being discussed earlier and I'm glad that this is going to be actually merged! Can't wait for new version. Tho it would be cool if devs focused on stability. Plasma is incredibly unstable in comparison to other DEs . That's pretty sad

At my notebook the brightness is so low, and can't controlled with KDE. This was not happening with kde 5.27.11 🤔.
I need to check again the bug report's.

From their FAQ wording I get the impression it is disabled by design.
