Shikisai Puzzle - shikijitsu
My continued exploration down the rabbit hole of international dreamgaze has led me to Japan's Shikisai Puzzle (シキサイパズル). It's hard to find info but they appear to have released a 2014 album that this track is from and a follow-up mini-album. Both are on Spotify. The album is also on Youtube.

Melbourne brothers, Josh and Joel Meadows, were also responsible for The Sugargliders, one of only a couple of Australian acts with releases on the legendary British label, Sarah Records. See this post.
The brothers went on to form The Steinbecks, whose debut album At Home And Abroad With The Steinbecks doesn't seem to be widely available on streaming. There are a few songs on You/Yew-tube such as this one.
Backing up his claim about his love of radio, Josh Meadows presents a weekly show on Main FM called 'It's A Jangle Out There', which is worth a listen.

I think that this band sound a bit like Metric, which is probably why I quite like this song. Other tracks on the album 'Daggers' had collaborations with Ariel Pink and Billy Corgan.

This is pretty much the only Tune-yards song I could list off the top of my head…it's pretty good. A quick search tells me that they are an Oakland, California–based music project of Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner
