4 0 Replyit just sucks that they don't live for very long. You only get 2-4 years with them, and then they die :(
3 0 ReplyMice have had some luck with gene transfer from naked mole rats to extend their lifespans, maybe rats could also get some life extension genes in the future. Despite their name naked mole rats are not very related to rats, I think they are closer to squirrels than to moles or rats.
