I just triggered a side quest that starts with an anime scene in a BD. Should I watch Edgerunners before completing this quest? Does it matter?

It's really just a nod to the main character in the anime.
I would recommend watching Edgerunners soon as it's a damn good show, but I wouldn't halt your playthrough for it.
I'd just play through it, then watch Edgerunners, and finally look up the Easter eggs related to the anime afterward.
I wouldn't halt my game but I could just leave the quest on the back burner. Was planning on watching it at some point either way.
There isn't much to the quest, and it can't really be avoided. But it doesn't really spoil the show.
Yeah, I ended up finishing it last night. I guess I was under the impression it would be more in depth. You don't even really do anything.
